The horizontal mixer is used for the production of feed mixtures of grain and additional components. In the standard version, the horizontal mixer is filled from above. Individual solutions are available.
The horizontal mixer is available with two different mixing devices:
– THZM-W: Mixer shaft with mixing spirals
– THZM-P: Mixer shaft with mixing paddles
For feed mixtures from cereal meal, we recommend the horizontal mixer THZM-W with counter-rotating mixing spirals.
For high CCM content (Corn-Cob-Mix = corn grain-spindle-mixture) the horizontal mixer THZM-P with mixing paddles should be used.
The discharge outlet can be optionally equipped with a manually, pneumatically or electrically operated flat slide valve.
