Regardless of the type of dryer, in addition to the heat source a blower is required to generate the drying air. This blower is connected to the cold side of the dryer via pipes. This design draws the warm air through the system, which results in an even distribution of the air inside the dryer.
For our dryers, we only use radial blowers with optimised impellers and energy-saving motors. Our motors run rather slowly in comparison to the rest of the industry and are therefore comparatively quiet. Depending on the installation site, the exhaust air of the blower can be equipped with an additional silencer for further noise reduction. Especially for drying corn we recommend the use of our dedusting blowers TRG/E, in which a partial air flow with dust is separated through a second housing, which can then be disposed by a cyclone.
